Phase Sensor Inspection

Ensure all harness connectors are connected. Using DVOM, backprobe ECM harness connector terminal No. 8 (Orange/Black wire). Measure voltage between terminal No. 8 and vehicle ground. Voltage should be 0-5 volts with engine between idle and 3000 RPM. Replace sensor if measurement is not within specification.
