Fuel Pump Test

Turn ignition off. On all models except Sonata 2.5L, apply battery voltage to fuel pump check terminal connector. See Fig 1. On Sonata 2.5L, turn ignition on. On all models, remove fuel tank cap and listen for fuel pump operation. Pinch fuel hoses by hand, and ensure fuel pressure can be felt.
