Diagnostic Tests: Notes

NOTE: For identification of connector terminals referenced in testing procedures, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. For wire color and circuit identification, see appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article. When all repairs are completed, clear DTC. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. Retest system. If DTC resets, replace ECM. If DTC does not reset, system is okay.

NOTE: When DTC P0326: KNOCK SENSOR (KS) RANGE is set, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will not illuminate. MIL will illuminate when any other DTC is set. MIL will also blink when any MISFIRE DETECTED DTC is set.
