Armature Test

Place the armature on a pair of V-blocks, and check the run - out by using a dial gauge. See Fig 1 . See STARTER SPECIFICATIONS .
Check the outer diameter of the commutator. See Fig 2 . See STARTER SPECIFICATIONS .
Check the depth of the insulator between segments. See Fig 3 . STARTER SPECIFICATIONS .
