Automatic Transaxle: Removal
- Remove the engine cover.
- Remove the battery terminal.
- Remove the air duct.
- Remove the battery tray.
- Remove the air cleaner.
- Upper
- Lower
- After removing the CKP sensor, O2 sensor and oil pressure switch wiring bracket, separate the connectors.
- Remove the speedometer sensor connector.
- Remove the transaxle range switch.
- Remove the oil cooler hose.
- Remove the clip (transaxle side) of the shift cable.
- Separate the steering column shaft joint.
- Separate the power steering oil pump hose.
NOTE: Be careful not to leak after separating.
- Separate the hose after removing the clip of the power steering return hose.
- Remove the upper connecting transaxle bolt.
- Separate the start motor.
- Install the engine support fixture.
- After removing the tire, remove the caliper.
- Remove the transaxle side cover.
- Remove the transaxle under cover.
- Separate the tie rod end.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor and the knuckle mounting bolt.
- Drain the oil.
- Remove the transaxle mounting bracket.
- Insulator bolt
- Body mounting bolt (Upper)
- Body mounting bolt (Side)
- Transaxle side mounting bolt.
- Remove the front roll stopper.
- Insulator bolt
- Stopper bolt (Upper)
- Stopper bolt (Lower)
- Remove the rear roll stopper.
- Insulator bolt
- Stopper bolt
- Remove the drive shaft.
- Remove the front muffler.
- Remove the sub frame mounting bolt.
- Install the jack under the transaxle assembly.
- Remove the transaxle lower mounting bolt to the engine.
- Remove the transaxle assembly.
