Rear Power Window Motor Inspection

  1. Remove the inside handle mounting screw.
  2. Loosen the door trim mounting screws (4EA) and remove the rear door trim using a trim remover.
    NOTE: When using a trim remover, wrap it with a place of cloth so as not to damage the painted surface.

  3. Disconnect the 2P connector from the motor.

  4. Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.

  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
