Generators & Regulators: Overhaul: Disassembly

Using a screw driver, remove generator cover. See Fig 1 .
Remove the brush holder retaining bolts and remove brush holder assembly. See Fig 2 .
Remove slip ring guide. See Fig 3 .
Remove the nut, drive pulley and spacer. See Fig 4 .
Remove the 4 generator housing bolts. See Fig 5 .
Remove the front housing cover and rotor. See Fig 6 .
