Repair Procedures: Replacement: Notes

NOTE: In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer or button engine start system, perform "Key Teaching" procedure together (Refer to BUTTON ENGINE START SYSTEM ).

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Disconnect the TCM Connector (A).

Remove the air cleaner assembly (A) (Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD ).

After removing the installation bolts, remove the TCM (A) from the air cleaner.
TCM bracket installation bolt:

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

Installation is reverse of removal.
