Repair Procedures: Replacement: [Removal]

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
  1. Remove the roof side molding.

    (Refer to "ROOF SIDE MOLDINGS ")

  2. Remove the rear package tray trim.

    (Refer to "REAR PACKAGE TRAY TRIM ")

  3. Disconnect the rear window glass defogger connector.
  4. Spread the WD-40 on the side of rear window glass.
  5. Using masking tape create some alignment marks (C) to aid in reinstallation.

  6. Cut out the adhesive using the cutter (A).
    NOTE:
    • Please use the cutter with a blade length between 8-12 inches.

  7. Enough on the upper (A) and lower (B) side (C) of rear window glass. and then cut out the adhesive using the cutter tool (09861-31100).

  8. Remove the rear window glass (A).
    NOTE:
    • When removing and installing the rear window glass, an assistant is necessary.
