General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Determines if actual torque is grossly different from desired torque
  1. Intake air leakage
  2. Faulty ETS System
  3. Clogged exhaust system
  4. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • No faults present
  • Engine Running state
  • Engine Speed > 600 rpm
  • Driving (idle to maximum speed)
Threshold value
  • Actual Torque > Commanded Torque
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous (Within 20 sec.)
MIL On Condition
  • 1 Drive Cycle
