Repair Procedures: Installation
CAUTION:
- Place the shift lever and transaxle side lever in 4th shift position and insert the lever fixing pin (A).
- Install the retainer (A) and then tighten the nuts (B).
Tightening torque:
11.8 - 14.7 N.m (1.2 - 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 - 10.8 lb-ft)
- Install the select cable (B), and then fixing the snap pin (A).
- Install the shift cable (A).CAUTION:
- After installing the select cable and shift cable socket, check portion (A) to see if it projects outwards from the cap.
- Move the locker (B) in the direction of "F" with pulling the holder (A) in the direction of "P".
- Install the control cable.
- Install the snap pin (A).
- Separate the select cable (B) and then shift cable (C).
- Tighten the holder (A) to the "P" directions after fixing the rockers (B) in the "F" direction.
- Remove the shift lever 4th fixed pin (A).
- Install the floor console assembly.

- Install the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY , and BATTERY TRAY ")
- Install the engine control module (ECM).
(Refer to Engine Control System - "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) ")
- Install the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
CAUTION:- Check operating of lever of transaxle side when operating shift lever after assembly. (1~6, R)
- If there is sticky feel, adjust the control cable length again.
