Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the cylinder head cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "CYLINDER HEAD COVER ")

  3. When remove the oil control valve, hold the hexagonal portion on the camshaft with a wrench to prevent the camshaft from rotating.
  4. Remove the CVVT oil control valve (A).
