Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the EEGR control valve connector (A).
- Remove the EGR cooler pipe.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "EGR COOLER ")
- Remove the EEGR control valve (B) after removing the mounting bolt and nut (A).
