Repair Procedures: Removal
- Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY TRAY ")
- Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).
- Remove the ECM bracket assembly (B) after loosening the mounting bolt and nuts,
ECM Bracket mounting bolt/nut:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the ECM after loosening the mounting nuts (A) and screw (B).
ECM Mounting bolt/nut:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
