Repair Procedures: Removal

Information 

• Accelerator position sensor is not replacing part. It must be replaced with the accelerator pedal assembly.

1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).

3. Disconnect the upper mounting cap (B), and remove the mounting nut (C).
4. Remove the mounting bolt & nut (A), and remove the accelerator position module.

   Tightening torque: 

   8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)
