Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Be careful to store and handle the crash pad when removing/installing because lubricant and oil can leave a stain on the trim.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the console garnish assembly. [LH]

    (Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  4. Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, remove the center fascia panel.

  5. Loosen the screw and then remove the AVN key pad assembly.

  6. Disconnect the AVN key pad connector (A).

  7. Disconnect the SSB connector (A) and then remove the AVN key pad assembly.

  8. Remove the start/stop button (A) from the AVN key pad assembly.

  9. Separate the start/stop button switch.
