Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the ignition coil connector (A).

    NOTE:
    • When removing the ignition coil connector, pull the lock pin (A) and push the clip (B).

  4. Remove the ignition coil (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
