Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the air intake hose. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM ")
  3. Remove the intercooler outlet hose & pipe. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTERCOOLER ")
  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector.
  5. Disconnect the coolant hoses (A).
  6. Remove the installation bolts (B), and then remove the ETC module from the engine.
