Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Lift the vehicle.
- Remove the installation bolts and then remove the fuel tank air filter cover (A).
Fuel tank air filter cover installation bolt:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Disconnect the canister close valve extension connector (A).
- Disconnect the ventilation hose (A).
- Remove the fuel tank air filter mounting bracket (A).
- Remove the fuel tank air filter (A) from the canister after rotating it in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
- Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
- Releasing the fixing hook (A).
- Remove the canister close valve (B) from the canister after rotating it in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
