Throttle Position Sensor
- Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector. Connect ohmmeter leads between throttle position sensor terminals "E" and "F". See Fig 1
.
- With throttle valve fully closed, resistance should be approximately 1000 ohms. With throttle valve half-way open, resistance should be between 1000-9000 ohms. With throttle valve in full open position, resistance should be approximately 9000 ohms. Adjust or replace throttle position sensor if resistance is not as specified.
