Motor Test

Unplug motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect terminals of a 12-volt battery to motor terminals. Motor should run smoothly. Transpose jumper leads at motor terminals. Motor should run smoothly in reverse direction. If motor does not run, check linkage for binding. If linkage is okay, replace motor.
