Mode II (Switch Signal Monitor)
- In this mode, BCM and LCU's monitor respective switches in LAN system for input signals. Switch input signals are monitored in the following order.

- To enter on-board diagnostic Mode II, turn ignition off. Ensure shift lever is in "P" position. Set power window lock switch in OFF position. Ensure all doors are closed. Set interior light switch in "O" position.
- Turn ignition on and then off. Repeatedly press rear defogger switch more than 10 times in 10 seconds and keep it pressed in. Self-diagnostic indicator lights should come on. Turn ignition switch to ON position when indicator lights come on.
- System is now in on-board diagnostic Mode II. Indicator lights will come on and chime will sound each time input signal from a switch is detected. See Fig 1 . To exit diagnostic mode, turn ignition off.
