Inhibitor Switch

Disconnect inhibitor switch harness connectors. Using a DVOM, verify continuity is present between inhibitor switch terminal No. 1 and 2 when gearshift is in Park and Neutral. See Fig 1 . Verify continuity is present between inhibitor switch terminal No. 3 and terminals No. No. 4 (P), No. 5 (R), No. 6 (N), No. 7 (D), No. 8 (3) and No. 9 (2, 1). Continuity should be present at all specified terminals.
