Fuel Pump Control Unit
- Disconnect fuel pump control unit connector, located above fuel tank at rear of vehicle. Install 3 jumper wires from unit side of harness, terminals No. 5, 6 and 7, to ECM side of harness, terminals "e", "f" and "g", respectively. See Fig 1
.
- Connect one, then 2 and finally 3 jumper wires as indicated in illustration. Using a DVOM, check voltage between terminals No. 4 and 7 as each jumper wire is connected. See Fig 1
. If voltage readings are not as indicated, replace fuel pump control unit.
