Crankshaft Position Sensor

ECM depends upon crankshaft position sensor for RPM signals. ECM uses signals to determine triggering of power transistors and fuel injectors. See appropriate CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR under ENGINE SENSORS & SWITCHES  .
