Remote Control Door Lock/Unlock Function Inoperative

Check if door lock/unlock function can be operated using lock/unlock switch or door knob switch. If doors cannot be locked/unlocked using door knob switch or lock/unlock switch, check power door lock system and lock timer. See DOOR LOCKS - POWER & TRUNK RELEASE SYSTEM article. If doors can be locked/unlocked using door knob switch or lock/unlock switch, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE 3  under DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS.
