Description & Operation
The driver's (main) switch controls all window motors. Individual switches (sub-switches) at each passenger door control the associated window motor. Each sub-switch incorporates a power window amplifier. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Power window amplifiers supply battery voltage to power window motors or door lock actuators when appropriate switch is pressed.
Driver's switch incorporates a lock-out feature which disables all passenger power window switches. When driver's side window switch is depressed once (not held), window will lower automatically. Window may be stopped in mid-travel by actuating switch in the up position once.
