All Remote Controller Functions Inoperative
- Check remote controller battery. Perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 1 under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure. If remote controller battery is okay, go to next step. If remote controller battery is defective, replace remote controller battery.
- Enter Identity (ID) code of a different or new remote controller. See REMOTE CONTROLLER under PROGRAMMING. If Nissan CONSULT scan tool was used for programming, go to next step. If Nissan CONSULT scan tool was not used for programming, go to step 4.
- If ID code cannot be entered, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 2 under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure. If ID code can be entered, retest system. If system functions normally, replace multi-remote controller. If system does not function normally, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 3 under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure or Figure .
- If ID code can be entered, replace multi-remote controller. If ID code cannot be entered, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE No. 2 and DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 3 under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure and Figure .
