Panic Alarm Function Inoperative From Remote Controller

Open driver's window. Close all doors, hood and trunk. Lock vehicle with key. Wait 30 seconds until SECURITY light starts to blink. Open hood. If alarm operates properly, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 5 under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure. If alarm does not operate properly, repair anti-theft system. See appropriate ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS article.
