Power Circuits (I30)

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a DVOM, check for battery voltage between ground and PCM terminals No. 4, 24, 67 and 72 by backprobing. See Figure . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check fusible link, fuse "G" and wiring. Repair as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Using a DVOM, check for battery voltage between ground and PCM terminal No. 80 (power back-up) by backprobing. If battery voltage is not present, check for overheated relays, fusible links and wiring. Repair as necessary
