Power Circuits (Q45)

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a DVOM, check for battery voltage between ground and PCM terminals No. 56, 130 and 131. See Fig 2 . If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check fusible link, fuse "G" and wiring. Repair as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Using a DVOM, check for battery voltage between ground and PCM terminal No. 78 (power back-up). If battery voltage is present, power circuits are okay at this time. If battery voltage is not present, check for overheated relays, fusible links and wiring.
