Multi-Remote Control System Antenna Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect antenna feed cable from Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU). Remove left rear pillar garnish and disconnect antenna feed cable from antenna. Check continuity in antenna feed cable between SECU and antenna. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace antenna feed cable.
  2. Check continuity between ground and both ends for antenna feed cable. If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace antenna feed cable.
  3. Visually inspect antenna for damage. If damage does not exist, antenna is okay at this time. If damage exists, replace antenna.
