Multi-Remote Control Systems: Description

The multi-remote control system controls operation of power door locks, trunk lid release, panic alarm and hazard warning lights. The multi-remote control system is inactive if key is in the ignition switch. System can receive signals from the remote controller only when ignition switch is in the OFF position (key removed). Signal received from remote controller is sent via data lines A-1 and A-2 from Body Control Module (BCM) to Local Control Units (LCUs) to activate the requested action.
