Interior Light Function Inoperative

NOTE: If no problem exists after performing tests, replace remote controller. When remote controller is replaced, all remote controllers that are to be used with this system must be reprogrammed at the same time. See PROGRAMMING .

Ensure interior light switch is in DOOR position. If dome light illuminates when a door is opened, but not when pressing unlock button on remote controller, perform INTERIOR LIGHT OPERATION CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. If dome light does not illuminate at all, check interior light circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram in ILLUMINATION/INTERIOR LIGHTS article.
