Driver's Door Unlock Sensor Check

  1. Measure voltage by backprobing between terminal No. 36 (Light Green/Red wire) on SECU 24-pin harness connector and ground. See Figure . Voltage should be zero volts with door unlocked and about 5 volts with door locked. If voltages are not as specified, go to next step. If voltages are as specified, door unlock sensor is okay.
  2. Perform door unlock sensor test. See SENSORS  under COMPONENT TESTS. If sensor is okay, inspect unlock sensor ground circuit (Black wire) and/or Light Green/Red wire for open or short between SECU and driver's door unlock sensor.
