Horn Reminder Check

  1. Inspect horn system. Press horn button. If horn sounds, go to next step. If horn does not sound, inspect and repair horn system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Disconnect Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) 24-pin connector and apply ground to terminal No. 19 (Green/White wire). See Figure . If horn does not sound, inspect Green/White wire between horn relay and SECU for open or short. If horn sounds, replace SECU.
