Diagnostic Procedure Using Scan Tool
NOTE:
The following procedures were written for use with Nissan's CONSULT scan tool. Other scan tools can be used, but may have limited functions. For additional information, refer to the scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Turn ignition on. Touch START, IVMS, then POWER WINDOW button on scan tool display. Check status of appropriate switches while performing DATA MONITOR and ACTIVE TEST modes, following scan tool manufacturer's instructions. Refer to table for description of scan tool messages displayed for switch identification and appropriate power window commands. See DISPLAYED MESSAGE DEFINITIONS table.
