BRAKELINE Bleeding

  1. Carefully monitor brake fluid level at master cylinder during brake bleeding operation. Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Ensure reservoir is full at all times while bleeding brakes. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. If air in master cylinder is suspected, bleed master cylinder first.
  2. Bleed brakes in the following sequence: RR, LF, LR and RF. Connect a transparent vinyl tube to air bleeder valve. Fully depress brake pedal several times. With brake pedal depressed, open bleeder valve to release brake fluid. Close bleeder valve. Release brake pedal slowly. Repeat procedure until clear brake fluid comes out of bleeder valve.
