Using MIL

NOTE: Perform test when ambient temperature is 32-86°F (0-32°C). Ensure TCS switch is in OFF position. Fuel level should be low during this test.
  1. Drive vehicle according to specified driving pattern to set System Readiness Test (SRT) codes. See SYSTEM READINESS TEST (SRT)  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and retrieve DTCs using MIL. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES USING MIL  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
