2001 Model

Disconnect stoplight switch harness connector. See Figure . Check for continuity between switch terminals. With brake pedal released, continuity should not exist. With brake pedal depressed, continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, ensure switch is properly adjusted. Replace as necessary.
