Shift Lock System

Start vehicle and depress brake pedal. Move selector lever to desired position. Shift lock solenoid is not energized unless ASCD brake switch is operated by depressing brake pedal with ignition switch in ON position. If shift lock system does not operate as described, attempt diagnosis by symptom. See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS  .
