Using Generic Scan Tool

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Connect Generic Scan Tool (GST) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under the left side dash panel near the hood release lever.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  4. Select MODE 3 (DTCs) from screen display.
  5. Perform each diagnostic mode according to each service procedure. For more information, refer to scan tool manufacturers instructions.
