CONSULT-II Basic Operation
CAUTION:
If CONSULT-II is used with no connection of CONSULT-II CONVERTER, malfunctions might be detected in self-diagnosis depending on control unit which carry out CAN communication.
- With ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER to the data link connector. See Fig 1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Touch START (NISSAN BASED VHCL).
- Touch METER A/C AMP on SELECT SYSTEM screen. If METER A/C AMP is not indicated, check data link connector circuits. See UNIFIED METER & A/C AMP in appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
- Select SELF-DIAG RESULTS or DATA MONITOR.
