Component Inspection
- Disconnect electric throttle control actuator harness connector. Check resistance between terminals No. 3 and 6. See Fig 1
. Resistance should be about 1-15 ohms at 77°F (25°C). If resistance is to specification, system is okay at this time. If resistance is not to specification, replace electric throttle control actuator and go to next step.
- Perform throttle valve closed position learning. See THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING
under PROGRAMMING. Perform idle air volume learning. See IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING
under PROGRAMMING.
