DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition on and wait at least 2 seconds. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. Start engine and let it idle for 5 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
