DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If a DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.

Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. Start engine and run at idle speed for at least 30 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
