With GST

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between ECM terminal 102 (PNP switch signal) and ground under the following conditions.

CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

Condition (Gear position)	Voltage V (Known good data)
P or N position	Approx. 0
Except the above position	BATTERY VOLTAGE (11 - 14V)

If NG, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

Specification data are reference values and are measured between each terminal and ground.

CAUTION: Do not use ECM ground terminals when measuring input/output voltage. Doing so may result in damage to the ECM's transistor. Use a ground other than ECM terminals, such as the ground.
