Component Inspection (Dropping Resistor)

  1. CHECK DROPPING RESISTOR
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect dropping resistor harness connector.
    3. Check resistance between dropping resistor as follows.
      TERMINAL RESISTANCE CHART

      Terminals Resistance
      1 and 2 0.9 Ω [at 20°C (68°F)]

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: INSPECTION END

      NO: Replace dropping resistor.
