Component Inspection

  1. CHECK FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE (FPCM)
    1. Start engine and warm it up normal operating temperature.
    2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
    3. Check the voltage between FPCM terminals under the following conditions.

      FPCM Ground Condition Voltage (V)
      Connector Terminal
      B111 4 Ground When engine cranking Approx. 0
      After starting engine Approx. 5

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: INSPECTION END

      NO: Replace FPCM.
