Component Function Check

CHECK FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE (FPCM) FUNCTION

With CONSULT-III

Turn ignition switch ON.
Select "FPCM" in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-III.

Check "FPCM" indication under the following conditions.

MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART

Monitor item	Condition	Indication
FPCM	Engine: Cranking	HI
FPCM	Engine: Idle Engine coolant temperature: More than 10 °C (50 °F)	LOW

Without CONSULT-III

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminal as per the following.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
